Cape Ann Veterans Writing Group

**Coming Back Soon in 2022!

Since the fall of 2013, this group has been serving veterans and the family of veterans. Open to men and women from diverse backgrounds, and with various writing skill levels, this group aims to give voice and support to those who have served in the military.

The group traditionally meets for seven-week sessions in the fall and eight-week sessions in the spring. In these sessions writers learn by doing, and soon appreciate how the writing process can shed light on how military service has both enriched and challenged their lives.  The group values genuine dialog rather than debate. Members write, not just for the record, but to experience what it means to think by means of writing.

The Cape Ann Veterans Writing Group is supported by the Gloucester Office of Veterans Services and the Gloucester Writers Center.
