Without the support of the Friends of the Gloucester Writers Center for the past ten+ years none of our programming would be possible. Our Friends include Individual Donors, Community Partners & Businesses, Grantors, Volunteers and more. THANK YOU. Because of your involvement, enthusiasm, and shared belief that all voices need to be heard, we can serve the Gloucester and Cape Ann communities. We appreciate you.
This page is in development and more partners and supporters are being added every week. Check back soon for a complete list of our acknowledgements.

THE GLOUCESTER 400+
Gloucester’s 400th Anniversary: Our People, Our Stories
We’re proud to partner with the Gloucester 400+ to mark 400+ years in the history of America’s oldest seaport. Together, along with numerous other community partners and individuals, we will work towards collecting and sharing the stories of all those who lived here including Indigenous Peoples, English Colonists, free Blacks and enslaved Africans, and the many waves of immigrants who built this city from past to present. The anniversary seeks to be truthful in telling the complex story of the place that is now called Gloucester.
