The goal of this workshop is to write.
The Veterans Writing Workshop is designed to help people get started or move forward on their own writing projects. Veterans from all conflicts and disaster relief and family members are
welcome. There will be eight sessions on Thursdays from March 24 until May 12 from 10 – 12 at the Veterans Center, 12 Emerson Avenue, Gloucester. The workshop is limited to 12 writers.

There is no charge for taking this workshop.
Dorothy Nelson, poet, writer and editor, has taught writing and literature for over 25 years. Formerly Senior Lecturer in English at UMass Boston, she is a regular participant in the workshops and seminars of the Joiner Institute for the Study of War and Social Consequences. She serves as an Advisor to the Gloucester Writers Center and as a member of the Gloucester Cultural Council.
