SUMMER ON MEETINGHOUSE GREEN
Eight Friday evening outdoor concerts using the Unitarian Universalist Church entrance area as a stage, free and open to the public, to support Cape Ann non-profits and build awareness of the historic meetinghouse preservation efforts.
All audience contributions via free-will offerings, membership and other income go to that evening’s partner non-profit. The final event will benefit the Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation’s project to install a complete-building fire-sprinkler system.
The green will open at 6:00pm with the audience encouraged to bring blankets, folding chairs and picnic baskets. Events will close by 9:00pm. During inclement weather the concerts will be held inside the Meetinghouse (without picnicking) – no cancellations.
