The Gloucester Writers Center is a place for working writers in a working town
Be a part of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)! The Sawyer Free Library and the Gloucester Writers Center invite all young adults to a series of workshops to help with the process, culminating in an open-mic style reading at the Gloucester Writers Center.
We will meet Mondays in the Young Adult section of the library from 5-6.
Monday, November 20: Dialogue
We need to talk. Well, our characters need to talk. What they say and how they say it can make or break a novel. We will find voices for your characters and get the conversations going.
Monday, November 27: Wrapping It Up
You have been writing all month. You are nearly there. But what about that scene in the third chapter? Does it still keep you up at night? This is the day to ask for help on the things you aren’t quite sure of.
Monday, December 4: NaNoWriMo Reading at the Gloucester Writers Center
Join us at 126 East Main Street for a celebration of all of our hard work.
