GUIDED AUTOBIOGRAPHY GROUP: The Journey of a Lifetime
Join members of our community for a journey of personal exploration,
writing, and community building as we:
• leave a legacy for family members • facilitate life transitions
• enhance personal growth • contribute to history • enjoy the
thrill of self-discovery
Guided autobiography is a fun and effective process for life review
that combines autobiographical writing with small group experiences.
Each week we will use prompting questions to jumpstart and organize our memories
around a meaningful life theme. The weekly sessions also provide a
safe space for sharing our work-in-progress, and participants will be
asked to share two pages that they wrote during the previous week.
Guided autobiography is especially powerful for those entering or
wanting to enter a new phase of life, but everyone can benefit.
This group will meet for ten Mondays Starting September 17 and ending on November 19 from 7-9 p.m. at the Maud / Olson Library at 108 East Main Street.
Class cost: $250
Minimum enrollment: 5
Maximum enrollment: 8
