Fanny Howe has written many books of poetry and fiction. Her most recent collection of
poetry is Second Childhood from Graywolf Press. She was a Finalist for the
National Book Award in 2014 for that book and for the Man Booker International
Award,2015, for her fiction. Her newest collection of prose, The Needle’s Eye,was
published in November 2016. She taught for 45 years and now lives in Massachusetts.
