Find the writer in you. Whether you’ve been writing for a while, or wanting to write for a while, this class will help you build and sustain a writing practice. In-class exercises will get you going and keep you going as you find and refine your own voice and mine the wealth of stories within you—fictional or autobiographical. 4-week sessions, Tuesday mornings, from 10 am to –noon. ANN MCARDLE received her MFA in fiction from the Pine Manor Solstice Program in Creative Writing. She has published several nonfiction books. Her first fiction publication, the story “Tomorrow,” appeared in the premiere issue of Pear Noir! in 2009 and also aired on Carole Giangrande’s podcast, “Words to Go.” Her ten-minute play, “More,” was produced in 2014 at Roxbury Repertory Theatre. She was a finalist for the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s 2014 Literary Artist’s Grant and received a grant from Turkey Land Cove Foundation on Martha’s Vineyard for 2015.
