Craig Stormont

Craig Stormont is a writer and teacher from Queens, NY, currently living and working on Long Island. He spent the 1980’s hitchhiking around the United States. Later, he enrolled in college, where he was introduced to the work of Charles Olson, whose ideas resonated with him. His field research concerning Olson led him to visit Vincent Ferrini at 126 E. Main St., in July of 2001, resulting in an interview that was later published as The Initiations.
Vincent: Living and Writing will focus on their conversations and what Craig learned from Vincent in reference to writing, values, and the importance of enjoying a simple life, which seems to be becoming more and more of a foreign notion to most in this materialistic age.
