For years the GWC has been the home to a the Finish Line Writers Group. These dedicated writers meet every two weeks to support and critique each other’s work. The group has midwifed a number of books. One founding member, local chanteuse Barbara Boudreau, is about to publish her second. Death of the Frenchman is a follow up to The Frenchman. In the sequel Jean LaChance and Lilly Parsons have escaped detective Guy Santino to a lost tropical isle. When a vicious hurricane destroys their home and livelihood, LaChance decides to return stateside and collect what he secreted away to rebuild their lives. The plot thickens when the retired Santino gets a whiff of his return and, the chase is on.
