Middle Street
There is a “Middle Street” in most cities. This one’s in Gloucester populated by churches, a temple, law offices, funeral parlors and homes. To get to “Middle Street,” we go under the wharves, past the fish cutters and the North Shore Theater. Willie Alexander tells his tale about leaving Gloucester, Massachusetts in the 50’s as a boy and coming back 35 years later as a man. The four short is illustrated with a string of fleeting moments from filmmaker Henry Ferrini’s wandering eye. It’s kind of it as a nature walk through Gloucester, Massachusetts with a couple of friends. Winner: Somerville Film Festival – Best of Festival, 1995.
