His films include: Polis is This: Charles Olson and the Persistence of Place, Poem in Action, a portrait of his uncle Vincent Ferrini and Lowell Blues: the Words of Jack Kerouac. He is working on a new film about the iconic jazz stylist Lester Young. He lives in Gloucester with his wife and son.

Adam Tessier, Program Director. Adam joins the GWC from a long and impressive career at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA). At the MFA Adam served in a number of roles, including Director of Interpretation where he developed diverse, equitable, and accessible experiences for all visitors in the museum’s galleries.

Adam is also a writer and editor with a portfolio focused on the arts, literature, and food. He is a graduate of Vassar College in New York where he studied art, and the Bennington Writing Seminars, where he completed a Master of Fine Arts in poetry. Welcome Adam!

Terry Weber Mangos, Manager. Terry is a longtime friend and supporter of the GWC, lending her public relations, marketing and writing skills to us in the early days of our formation. Now she has joined us as Manager. Terry has been published in the Boston Globe, Providence Journal, Gloucester Daily Times, Cape Ann Beacon and numerous blogs. She also is currently working on the Gloucester400+ history project which will one day result in the publication of a book featuring local stories. In addition to her writing, public relations and marketing experience, Terry brings operational and organizational skills that every nonprofit needs. Thank you for joining the team Terry!

Taryn Crannell, Graphic Designer. Taryn is a Montserrat College of Art graduate, working as a freelance designer for the GWC. She assists in creating promotional flyers and videos for GWC events, and is also a storyboard artist for Henry Ferrini’s current film project. Her visual arts portfolio can be viewed on her website, or on her Instagram.
