All writers are invited to come read their works at the Gloucester Writers Center’s Open Mic Night, hosted by Roger Davis on the first Monday* of every month. Each reader gets five minutes. Bring your words. Get heard!
If you are not a writer and just want to listen to stories, you are most welcome to be an audience member. Currently our Open Mic nights are conducted on Zoom. Link is below. Sign in at 7:15PM to chat with other writers. Readings start at 7:30PM.
A bit of history
For years, uninterrupted by rain, snow or pandemic, the Gloucester Writers Center has hosted its Open Mic on the first Monday of every month (from 7:30-9:00) as an opportunity for writers of any genre and every level of experience to read their words to a supportive, friendly, informal audience of fellow writers. Even if you do not write or do not care to share your writing, you can be part of that audience and support this community-building and creativity-enhancing
