Writing a 10-Minute Play Workshop

November 12, 2013 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Everyone has a story to tell. The 10-minute play format has all the elements of drama – plot, characters, dialogue & conflict. Learn how to put those elements into a short piece written specifically for the stage, for actors, and for an audience. Over the 4-week class, participants will create a 10-minute play for a Festival to be performed live. If you are a writer, stretch your skills into theatre and the art of writing art dialogue. If you are a dreamer, put your story into the short-play format for all the world to see!

M. Lynda Robinson has been in the theatre for 30+ years as an actor, director, producer, teacher and playwright. She attended the Graduate School in Playwriting at B.U., has 3 published plays, won numerous awards, and her plays have been produced all over the country. She is a playwriting mentor at high schools for the Mass. Young Playwrights Program and the Huntington Theatre’s Young Voices Program.

Tuesdays  November 12, 19,  and 26 and December 3.
